Michele Tarantino, OTR/L, CLVT, is an experienced occupational therapist with 29 years of practice and a specialty in low vision rehabilitation. She earned her low vision certification from Salus University and is certified by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals. Currently, Dr. Tarantino is a clinical assistant professor of occupational therapy and academic fieldwork coordinator at Quinnipiac University, overseeing student placements and teaching courses on physical disabilities and adult rehabilitation. She has worked extensively in home health care, focusing on geriatric populations, and remains an active community leader, serving on multiple committees and boards, including the Library for the Blind Advisory Committee and the BAWA Health Initiative.
