Moving With HOPE is thrilled to announce that we will be adding SMARTfit Dual Task Training to our North Haven clinic this August!

What is SMARTfit?
SMARTfit is an evidence-based, gamified training system that helps people improve both cognitive and physical function at the same time. It’s designed to strengthen the brain-body connection—supporting mobility, balance, memory, reaction time, and overall independence.

SMARTfit’s approach is grounded in 30+ years of scientific research and delivers faster, more effective results than traditional single-task training. It’s used worldwide in neurorehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and wellness programs.

Who can benefit?
SMARTfit will support a wide range of Moving With HOPE clients, including those living with:

• Stroke, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS), and other neurological conditions
• Orthopedic injuries (post-surgery, post-injury)
• Memory loss or cognitive decline
• Fall risk and balance challenges
• Concussion recovery
• Pediatric neurological and sensory challenges
• Sports injuries (return-to-sport training)

Why are we adding it?
Our mission is to make advanced neurorehabilitation accessible to people in the community. SMARTfit will give our clients a fun, engaging, and scientifically proven way to rebuild strength, mobility, and cognitive function—helping them live with greater independence and confidence.
